So, I understand that friendships change and go wonky and roll through the roller-coaster vomiting motion. That's perfectly peachie. It happens all the time.

But you'd think people would get better with time, or even after a decent conversation that hashes out all those pesky differences and minor irritations. You'd think.

Yeah, no. Not so much. I can deal perfectly well with the friends I have, all except for one in particular.

See, we've been having the age old conversation for what feels like months. The whole "Are we really friends or are we just adding one another to a roster of a people we know and might occasionally like to talk to" conversation. I'll be honest, I like this person. I really do. Said so a number of times.

So, we drifted. So, what? Big deal. I gave him some space, of which I thought he needed. Guess not. Starts another conversation of "I didn't need space. You're ignoring me". Heave sigh.

To make a long story short, I thought we were alright. Pals. Chums. Nope. Seems we're back at square one, and he's rubbing it in my face like there's no tomorrow. Should have seen this coming. Shouldn't let it bother me, and so, I won't. What he does is his problem, and if he can't muster up the balls to actually crack open his shell and 'talk', then I won't waste the anxiety or paranoia on him.

What its coming down to is: He thrives off the emotions he can pull from other people, preferably negative ones. He loves to see what it takes to make people fall to their worst. Shoving his surly view points onto other people, because it makes him feel better.

Well, this is to him. Sorry, 'sweetheart', but it won't be me. There are plenty of other people out there that are willing to give you the time of day for this. People who are willing to be spoken to when its simply convenient for you. And right now, that's not me. Come find me when you're ready to be 'friends', yeah?

*Puts away the soap box* Feel much better now! WOOO! Anyone for a banana split sundae? XD
